                            DR. SYED HUSSAIN ABIDI, CHAIRMAN PCSIR HAS BEEN ASSIGNED ADDITIONAL DUTIES OF TECHNICAL ADVISOR, MINISTRY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY

                            In pursuance of Ministry of Science & Technology’s Office Order No. 3(3)/2019-Estt.II, Dr. Syed Hussain Abidi, Chairman PCSIR has been assigned additional duties of Technical Advisor, Ministry of Science & Technology with following ToRs:-
                            1) Technical and policy advice on mega-projects and new initiatives.
                            2) Participation in meetings as and when desired by Minister for Science and Technology for technical advice.
                            3) Harmonization of R&D efforts of various organizations under Administrative control of Ministry of Science & Technology.
                            4) Give advice on policy-financial-technical matters at this ministry.
                            5) Propose measures to establish and strengthen the linkages between Academia, R&D and Industry to augment S&T activities and industrial promotion.
