Establishment of Water Testing Laboratory at Gawadar by PCSIR

As per the directions of Dr. Shahzad Alam, Chairman, PCSIR, water testing laboratory was established at PNS Akram, Gawadar, Baluchistan, for assuring the drinking water quality. All the technical expertise along with equipments and other chemicals / bio-chemicals for conducting the key microbiological and chemical parameters were established by PCSIR Labs Complex, Lahore and PCSIR Labs, Karachi. Dr. Muhammad Nadeem, SSO from Food & Biotechnology Research Centre, PCSIR Labs, Lahore provided hands on testing training to four personnel of Pakistan Navy, from 26^th – 30^th July, 2016 at Gawadar. This technical assistance rendered by PCSIR would play a vital role for providing safe drinking water to armed forces working in Gawadar, Baluchistan.
